See attached screenshot. Certain settings, such as the server name, dmflags, sv_maxclients etc. are not set properly when launching the server in Doom Explorer.

Hi, it seems to work fine most of the time, but sometimes when starting the server it'll break. It seems to happen mostly if you change the .exe before starting the server. The server name seems to be displayed correctly now, but the compatflags are cleared incorrectly.

I found the cause of your problems with the flags and other parameters when starting the server: this is the ZA3.1 "feature". In ZA config file there is special section - NetServerInfo. According to ZA source "The NetServerInfo section will be read and override anything loaded here when it's determined that a netgame is being played". For some reason (probably by mistake) ZA3.1 put there some configurable at start variables so they override anything you setup in Doom Explorer. For example there is string 'compatmode=0' which set to zero compatflags and compatflags2. Also there is string "sv_hostname" which store first server name and doesnt allow to change it to any other, etc...
You can easily check this by starting za31 server with this command:
zandronum.exe -config test.cfg +compatflags 1 -host
First time compatflags will be 1 because there is no config file test.cfg, but when you close server and start it again, this file is created and you will get compatflags 0
To workaround this 'feature' Doom Explorer delete config file at each server start, you can try it:
http://doomutils.ucoz.ru/files/DoomExplorer157-1.zip
Also if you are ZA tester, make a note about it to developers please
